An Austrian company
GW Cosmetics was founded in 1930 and is now an owner-managed company based in Leopoldsdorf, Lower Austria. It employs around 100 people, 20% of whom work in research, development and quality assurance.
In addition to brands such as RefectoCil (since 1942) and BeautyLash (since 2008), the brand Master Lin has been at home under the umbrella of GW Cosmetics since 2011. The company is certified according to the standards of IFS-HPC, K-GMP ISO 22716, Natrue and the Vegan Society and is a member of Leitbetriebe Austria.

The healing system
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been a symbol of health and well-being for thousands of years. The pursuit of unity of body, mind and soul is the basis of this remarkable healing system. Master Lin products stimulate and energize the skin via the meridian system of the body. Irritations are gently regulated and any cell damage that has occurred is repaired.
5 elements and the meridians
In China, the number 5 is considered the number of life, it is embodied by the 5 elements wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Particular emphasis is placed on harmony, peace and balance. Meridians, more accurately translated as “pathways”, are channels in TCM through which the life energy Qi flows. Each meridian is assigned to a functional circuit (organ system). These points can be activated using Master Lin products. Master Lin Gold Balm is particularly suitable for this.
Raw materials used
The secret of its high effectiveness lies in the holistic consideration of all the raw materials used. Far Eastern medicinal herbs, essential oils and precious natural products are combined to meet the individual needs of each skin type. The skin takes what it needs, the aromatherapeutic components pamper the mind, and inner balance is restored.

The purest fine gold, gently ground pearls and other hand-picked extracts soothe and moisturize the skin, smoothing and nourishing it perfectly to leave the complexion radiant. The skin is intensively cared for, strengthened from within and energized.
Natural active ingredients are more familiar to the skin than synthetic ones and are absorbed and tolerated much better. They are absorbed more quickly and are less likely to be deposited on the outer layer of skin. When switching from conventional cosmetics to natural cosmetics, the skin should be given a period of 28 days to adjust.

Beauty care is more than just dealing with appearances: Master Lin natural cosmetics are guaranteed to be free of animal testing, silicones, parabens and toxins. The quality and origin of the raw materials, as well as the responsible use of resources, play a decisive role at Master Lin.
Our natural products
Every NATRUE-certified product must contain a minimum of 80% natural ingredients. Natural ingredients are ingredients from nature that have a proven effect. These include, for example, essential oils, various extracts, beeswax, medicinal herbs, etc. All preservatives and ingredients allowed by NATRUE also occur naturally. However, only glycerine of vegetable origin is used, which is obtained naturally. In addition, we use certified palm oil in our Master Lin products wherever available.
